I’ve been slim my whole life. I’ve always been active and have tried to stick to a diet full of fresh vegetables and lean meats. But now matter what I did, or how active I was I just could never lose leg fat fast.

If you were to just look at my legs you would think I was obese. It really was that bad.

But I was determined to learn how to lose leg fat fast. I really wanted to have beautiful and slender legs … So I could show them off in skirts.

I tried everything in losing leg fat. You name it, and I probably tried it. All the way from the latest weight loss pills, chinese herbs, all the fad diets (including Atkins and South Beach). I even tried to get a personal trainer, but even he was stumped on why I had fat legs. Finally after trying all of this I thought that if I ran like a marathon runner I would be able to burn my leg fat away.

How wrong I was, and even after running over 15 miles a day for 3 months straight I was in the same place as before, just a lot more exhausted.

I was about to break down … I had tried all the famous ‘so called’ solutions but everything was failing me. I was tired of feeling ashamed of my legs, tired of wearing baggy clothes to cover them up. I just wanted to feel great about my body and just get my confidence back.

One night as I was contemplating giving up I came across a site that claimed to help me lose fat fast. I was hesitant that this was just another scam but when I saw all the amazing testimonials (seriously check them out), I just had to get the guide.

Lose Twenty Pounds With Exercise

Let me tell you right now that it definitely is possible to be able to lose over 20 pounds of excess fat in just 30 days. All 100% natural and safe of course. All it really requires is that you fixate on three very important elements and those are exercise, diet and supplements. Principle #2: Eat the same few meals over and over again

I can tell you that from researching the best dieters and fitness professionals from all over the world that the most successful of them all usually consume the same few meals over and over again. To keep things a little interesting mix and match the following ingredients into new meals:

Proteins:
Egg whites with one whole egg for flavor
Chicken breast or thigh
Grass-fed organic beef

Legumes:
Lentils
Black beans
Pinto beans

Vegetables:
Spinach
Asparagus
Peas
Mixed vegetables

Basically the rules are that you can eat as much as you like from the above foods. To increase the chance of success and reduce the chance that you give up you should try to keep the meals as simple as possible to prepare. Create three to four different meals and just repeat them. Most restaurants that you are going to visit will be able to offer you a salad in place of the usual chips or potatoes.

Most of the people that are new to the slow carb dieting are usually the first to complain that it doesn’t work and that you get low energy from it. The fact is that this isn’t due to the slow carb diet but simply because the people who are low on energy just aren’t eating enough foods. Vegetables just don’t contain enough calories to keep you satisfied so it is essential that you add as many legumes to your meals as you possibly can.

A lot of the most successful athletes in the world will tell you that you should eat six small meals per day, but I really feel that this is too inconvenient for most people to practice on a regular basis. So four meals a day I find is a perfect balance.

The following are some of my favourite meals that I like to repeat again and again:

Scrambled Eggology pourable egg whites with one whole egg, black beans, and microwaved mixed vegetables

Grass-fed organic beef, pinto beans, mixed vegetables.

Grass-fed organic beef, lentils, and mixed vegetables

Post-workout pizza with extra chicken, cilantro, pineapple, garlic, sundried tomatoes, bell peppers, and red onions

Principle #3: Don’t drink calories

You should be drinking a lot of water, in fact drink as much as you can in any given day as this is the best drink that you can ever drink. Other drinks that you can consume are coffee, tea, and any other kind of low calorie drink. Avoid milk, and normal sodas or even fruit juices.

Principle #4: Take one day off per week

I really suggest that you implement one day a week where you go completely nuts and eat whatever it is that you desire. Really go crazy and consume as much junks foods as your heart desires. Doing so is going to really make you feel kind of sick and as a result you will not want to look at that food for another week. Another benefit to consuming large quantities of junk food once a week is that you are going actually increase the amount of fat that your body burns. Amazing but true.

You really don’t have to look around far to know why losing weight is really beneficial for you. It drastically improves your confidence, and self esteem while at the same time increases your stamina and reduces the chance that you will get any horrific disease. But let me tell you one of the best reasons for losing weight …… thats right, it will drastically improve your sex life, especially for you guys out there.

There was a recent study carried out in Australia where they placed 31 diabetic and morbidly obese people on a diet and then at the same time measured their sex life before and after the diet change. What the results showed was truly amazing in that reducing their weight by just 5 % resulted in these men having an increase in sexual desire. Not only this but these men were less prone to problems with erectile dysfunction and so its great to know that not only is losing weight helpful to you guys having more sex but at the same time you won’t have to pop a pill every time you want to do it.

The study also showed that these same men showed a significant improvement to problems that they had previously with their urinary tract. Of course this is great news because issues like these can cause serious complications later on in life, things that nobody wants to deal with.

Aside from the great studies that have been carried out like above, there are many reasons that a person who is overweight should lose weight. Of course research done into natural selection dictates that those couples that are fitter are more likely to to mate and are obviously going to be attracted to each other. Most people are generally attracted to other fit human beings.

The reason being that naturally as men they feel that women who are fit are more likely to produce healthy offspring and the same goes for us women we generally feel that fit men will be able to protect us and provide for us better. This of course is going to lead to more sex, which is often what we humans desire anyway!

Another thing about weight loss is that its an extremely attractive personality trait to show off to potential partners and it tells a lot about that person in that they are willing to set goals and work hard to achieve them. Weight loss is an extremely difficult thing to achieve and if you can show people that you are the kind of person that is willing to set a goals and do what it takes to reach it then you are going to be very well admired!

To sum it all up I can say that losing weight massively improves your self esteem. Mine actually went through the roof. My confidence literally went spiraling and again this caused a massive gain to my sex life. More confidence can definitely equal to more sex!

How To Maintain Weight Loss And Stay Healthy

So you have finally lost all that excess fat from you body, especially those legs and have reached your weight loss goals but perhaps you have been in this position many times before and you just end up going to back to your old habits of eating junk foods and lacking in exercise…only to end up going back to your old unwanted fat self.

Well you might want to know how to maintain the weight that you have worked so hard to lose in the first place. Well I can tell you that if you implement some simple steps and a little self discipline then there is no reason why you can’t maintain the weight loss and look great all through the year.

Take Charge

You need to make sure that you really plan out the exercise that you need to be doing in advance. Its as important if not more important that the actual exercise itself …. because with out a real plan you are just going to get lazy and stop. Why stress yourself out with everything that you have to keep in mind from what to eat, how often to eat, what exercises to complete and when you need to do them. You can make things a lot simpler by just writing everything down and referring to your plan when needed. Very important step if you want to maintain the weight loss for life.

Keep Your Activity Levels Up

Once you reach a level where your fitness has improved drastically and you have a lot more lean muscle mass on your body you need to make sure that you keep your exercise regime fast paced and different. The reason being is that if you do the same exercises again and again you are just going to hit a plateau…. causing you to stop seeing results which can be discouraging and often cause you to quit. The key to maintaining your weight loss is to keep your body guessing.

All the fitness experts and gurus agree that mixing an exercise regime that is full of strength training exercises and cardio is going to give you the best results in maintaining a healthy weight that you love. Yoga is great for those of you that want to combat the stresses of a hard workout. Also keep in mind that you should never workout the same body area for more than two days in a row simply because you are going to overtrain it and possibly cause injury.

If you are an extremely busy person running around from one activity to the next, then you should really consider to increase the intensity of your workouts so that you can get the same done in less time. If you sometimes lack the motivation to workout try to get other members of your family involved to help you all stay fit and healthy.

Get Technical

Be extremely in regards to the number of calories that you ingest. Science tells us that the only way to lose weight on a daily basis is to lose more calories that you take in. For this you are going to have to develop some serious self discipline, especially those time when you are stressed out from everyday events. A great way to make sure that you stay on track is to keep a food journal recording every single thing that you eat.

So I’ve taken the time to put together an article with my best tips that will help all you beginners out there that want to lose weight.

How Did I Get Here?

Are you a person that just needs to make better choices when it comes to the foods that you eat? Most probably yes. But if the reasons behind your eating badly are a result of some emotional, mental or even spiritual issues then you are going to have to deal with those demons first before you tackle the issue of your weight.

Even those of you out there that don’t suffer from some kind of eating disorder will find that you are eating usually just for comfort. To really eat well in the long term (that means for life) you are going to have to learn how to deal with the many challenges that life throws at you without resorting to eating junk foods. This is the only way to get into shape and live a healthy life.

A lot of people that go on any particular diet usually end up giving up altogether when they struggle a little in-between. This is a totally wrong approach and instead your focus should be to learn from your mistakes and move forward.

Are You Ready to Diet? Again?

There are many hundreds, possibly thousands of diets out there that you can follow for quick weight loss. But the problem with most of these is the fact that focusing on quick weight loss can often lead to eating unhealthy and only experiencing short term successes.

Most of the diets out there are going to give you initial weight loss but in the long run they usually result in your metabolism slowing down. Take Control of What You Eat

There are very few thing that we have 100% complete control over but the food that we put into our stomach is one thing that we do have control of. Being in a restaurant doesn’t mean we have to lose control, and we certainly don’t have to eat everything that is put in front of us.

You should note that the reason that we love fat is because of the intense flavors that it brings about. As a result meals from restaurants stuff their meals full of bad fats. They obviously don’t care about our health and whether we will be here in 30 years or not.

Eat Frequently, and Eat Slowly

You really need to understand how your body works and the whole metabolic process. You have to know exactly what your body does when you miss a meal or go on the next fad diet. Skipping a meal slows your metabolism right down. The reason being is that your body wants to conserve as much energy as possible. When you keep this up for a few days, your body automatically goes into starvation mode and fights to save your fat stores. So any weight that you do lose during this period will mostly be water weight and muscle tissue.

You should never intentionally miss any meal, especially the most important of them all… breakfast. Attempt to eat healthy snacks between meals such as nuts. By eating smaller meals more regularly you are going to prevent yourself getting too hungry and the binge eating the usually occurs as a result. Along with this your energy levels are going to be maintained throughout the day and ultimately your metabolism will be balanced.

By eating our meals slowly we are going to give our bodies the chance register when we are actually full and therefore prevent overeating and weight gain.

Eat More Fruits, Vegetables and Whole Grains

People who are in great shape and eat well usually have meals that contain unprocessed foods that include a lot of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and lean meats such as chicken. You can literally eat as much of these foods as you like with gaining any unwanted fat. If they are a person that has been consuming foods that contain a ton of processed foods, they are going to find that they will be able to eat a lot more but with reduced number of calories and so they will lose weight.

Cut Down on Sugar

Avoid all sugar if you can! Trust me this is probably one of the biggest causes to weight gain in America. A little sugar in your coffee here, another can of soda there and it can really add up, causing insane weight gain.

You also have to keep an eye out for sugar hidden in a lot of processed foods such as bread, ketchup, salad dressing, canned fruit etc etc. Also be extremely cautious with fat free products. Sugar is usually the product that is used to replace the flavor that is lost when they remove fat from these products. A product being fat free doesn’t essentially mean its good for you.

Exercise Regularly

Those people that  remain in great shape usually exercise on a regular basis, this helps them stay in great shape minimizing the chances of regaining the weight they lost. Exercise makes it possible to create a sort of a calorie deficit and this helps you to lose weight without starving the body and slowing down you metabolism.

Whatever exercise you happen to choose whether it be weight lifting at the gym or playing sports make sure it involves both cardio and strength training. This will help you burn calories at the time of the exercise but also to burn calories hours after the workout.

If you don’t have much time in your day for exercise then consider walking, as its one of the best forms of exercise that you can do. Also keep in mind the more muscle you have on your body the more fat you are going to burn. So pack on that muscle.

Take It Easy

Unless you are really excited by the prospect of following any kind of diet or exercise regime then be sure not to make too many drastic changes all at once. Take it one step at a time and you will find it a lot more enjoyable and the results a lot more permanent.

There will be a time not too far in the future where healthy snacks are going to taste as good if not better than the junk food that you used to eat, and along with that you will find you will be looking forward to the exercise that you do.

But over the years you life became more and more sedentary causing you to gain weight especially in the legs area. Sports is somewhat a more social activity so you can enjoy doing it with friends.

Hey Jenny here and thanks for checking out my site on how to lose leg fat. My sole vision for this site is to help as many people as I possibly can to learn how to get rid of leg fat.

Being fit and healthy for all my life, it was king of a little secret and often surprising to those that became aware of it that I had such big legs. Honestly if you just saw my legs you would think I was obese. I became extremely self conscious, and would never dare wear any skirts. Baggy jeans looked terrible but was the only way I could hide them. My self confidence was slowly plummeting.

I had tried everything you can think of to try losing leg fat, but nothing ever seemed to work. From weight loss pills, all the way to running 15 miles a day. All I did was exhaust myself and fail at achieving my goal to lose leg fat fast.
